About Me

I am a young African American therapist with a Solution-Focused and Collaborative postmodern approach. Having grown up in a small Indiana town before moving to Houston in my early teenage years, I share common experiences with many who navigated through grade school and chose to pursue a higher education. My academic journey led me to degrees in psychology, driven by a curiosity to understand the motives behind human behavior. Over time, I realized that it's not just about why people do certain things, but rather, what happened to them that influenced those actions.

My decision to become a therapist stems from a desire to assist those in need and give back to my community by providing a service that is essential for many. Therapeutic services address various life experiences and transitions, offering support for issues ranging from small concerns to more significant challenges. My specialization encompasses diverse life stages and situations, and I approach therapy as a collaborative talk therapy. I believe that individuals, couples, and families possess the capacity to solve their own life puzzles, but sometimes they need assistance in rearranging the pieces – that's where I come in.

In my practice, I offer individualized approaches for adolescents, young adults, middle-aged individuals, and seniors. Through meaningful conversations, I aim to help clients reach their full potential and achieve the growth they desire. Whether our discussions focus on short-term or long-term goals, I am committed to working alongside you. Together, we will navigate through any challenging experiences life has thrown your way. Whether our therapeutic relationship is brief or long-term, my goal is for you to leave satisfied, having made progress towards your well-being and personal growth.
